Radon Mitigation - Pleasant Hill, IA
How to prevent radon?
This is a 1 point system that will be exiting out of the sump and out throught the garage. Homeowner looking to have the stack run close to the corner of the house so it can tuck in behind the garage door that opens if possible. Then vent out through the back side of the roof. The team advised him that this would all be possible but we also need to have enough room to run pipe as well as add the fan. Client agreed and he will also be adding an ERV into the laundry room. Inlet for air will be in this room as there is a patio out back. Was up in the air on where they would like the exhaust to come out. Also looking to have air suction from inside the house to help with circulation. Radon levels were at a 30 so it was really suggested to mitigation. They were actually a super nice couple who were very understanding.

Radon Mitigation - Elkhart, IA
The client made a radon test, and levels were around 8 by her treadmill. She had a multilevel basement, so the team needs one point in lowest level and one thru wall for living room/work out room. The Team Lead told her since interior tile we could consolidate points and use less PVC, but if the client wants to put point in the sump - the team will go for it, will just need a couple more sticks of PVC but not coring thru floor. She also has a couple of dogs and hasn't had ducts cleaned. We advised her about our air duct cleaning service, and she was interested!
