Radon System Installed After Waterproofing Project Wraps Up

During a recent waterproofing project, a homeowner also had a radon inspection and testing completed. High levels were found, but the mitigation system had to wait until the waterproofing work was finished. We had a detail-oriented customer with an inaccessible crawlspace. Our technician visited the house twice and handled multiple calls and emails to figure out the scope of work. He tested for radon and found out their levels were high. We found a perfect spot in the attic near the sump pit. It was a large room, ideal spot for the radon mitigation system. The client was thrilled with the final result!

Crawlspace Encapsulation for Small Home in Clear Lake, Iowa

This client has been our regular from duct cleaning service and now made the decision she wanted a crawlspace encapsulation. He feels that dirt and debris is piling up too much and causing moist to go mold. We had discussed his options and he threw in a radon mitigation system too! It was a 1-point system and he did specifically requested if it could be near the crawlspace for protection. He had a really small basement with windows. The team made it work and customer is satisfied with the results!

The clients needed an additional passive active system, counting this as their 2nd radon mitigation system. They loved their previous one that was installed by us and requested this be installed on the other side of the fence (basement). 

This project is a single-point system at Moby going out of the back side of the house. The HVAC system some pit are located in the center wall of the basement. Homeowner currently works downstairs and has a family which is the reason why they're looking to have a system there -- for extra protection. The sump pit is needed to be covered by a piece of plexiglass as I believe it is too small with where it is located to put an actual cover on. The homeowner did have interest in her filter budget was a concerned so could be worth a follow-up after the installation. He was a really straightforward but nice to talk to!
