Radon Mitigation System Upgrade: Dual Extraction + ERV Installation on Family Farm

This family chose our EcoBlue system and is also testing other homes on their farm; potentially expanding to additional properties and rentals. For their main home, we’re installing a comprehensive two-point radon mitigation system along with an ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator) to address both radon and carbon monoxide concerns from the furnace. Extraction points will be located in the pool room and TV room, while the ERV will be placed in the laundry room, designed to pull air from one side of the house and push fresh air toward the bedrooms. Routing details are to be confirmed with the homeowners to ensure optimal system efficiency and coverage.

3-Point System Installation and Sump Replacement

With radon levels testing over 30 pCi/L, this home required a three-point mitigation system to ensure proper pressure balance and effective radon reduction. Installation is scheduled with extraction points set near the airconditioning AC unit on the side of the home. During the project, our team will also replace the sump basin and install a new discharge line to improve drainage performance and system efficiency. These combined upgrades will help deliver long-term protection and healthier indoor air quality.

Radon Mitigation & Air Quality Boost for a Country Home

With radon levels averaging 12 pCi/L, these homeowners scheduled a two-point extraction system install on August 13th. The system will run from the utility room out the back of the home, with coring through concrete if needed. They also chose to improve indoor air quality with an Aspen air purifier in the kitchen, a Sedona dehumidifier tied into the utility room drain, and a BreatheEZ Air Cleaner; planned to integrate after their HVAC upgrade this fall. This project delivers lasting radon reduction and a healthier, more comfortable home.

This client was very detailed how he would like the radon to be exiting his home - he wants to it near the generator to not have to look at anything. It would be a 4 point system as discussed and we did make a promise we would deliver. It's a pretty odd layout but Rusty the team lead made it work! We did educate the client he needs a higher suction fan to make sure we have enough pull for the system. The client agreed and was given briefing before the installation started. He was happy how it turned out!
