Radon & Crawlspace Solution Designed Around Real-Life Needs
This family wanted to get it right. The husband had already prepped their crawlspace with a thin liner but wanted professional installation and a full radon warranty. With elevated concerns and kids at home, the priority was clear: protect their space while working around daily life. Our team designed a two-point system using the existing sump and a new extraction point in the crawlspace—while respecting their request to exit through the garage.
The husband showed strong interest in the ASPEN unit, and seeing it in person might help seal the deal. It’s a perfect fit for homeowners looking for efficient, quiet performance.

Radon Mitigation System Effectively Reduces High Levels in Multi-Level Home
When radon levels spiked above 25 in a multi-level home, a three-point system was designed to tackle the issue head on. In the utility room, two extraction points were established—one at the sump and another 10 feet to the right—to ensure thorough air circulation. A third extraction point was cored through the wall and discreetly placed in a bedroom closet, specifically targeting the area enhanced by a recent addition. Although the homeowner was considering Breath EZ and DC systems, she opted for a robust, three-point solution to effectively reduce the high radon levels. This tailored approach not only provided immediate relief but also promised long-term improvements in the overall air quality throughout her home.

Precision-Driven Radon System for a Detail-Oriented Homeowner
This client takes pride in his home—and wanted to make sure every detail of his radon system met his standards. With a split basement and a pool room on one side, this two-point mitigation system was designed for both performance and discretion. One extraction point will be installed on the pool room side, carefully concealed to maintain future finish-out options. The second point will go in the utility room, with an exit line routed out the back of the house. We’ll seal the sump and a connected drain, ensuring all condensate lines continue working properly. Plexiglass will also be installed for a clean, professional finish.

This is a single point system in the basement that is fairly open and going out the back side of the home. It will need to go out through the rim joist on whatever looks best on the backside of the home. Carey - the Project Specialist was not able to get a photo of the back to two in the appointment was so it will be up to the client's judgment where it looks best. The team can make it work with her preference anyway due to the allowance in the room where the radon mitigation system will be set. There's no sump it downstairs so we can place it wherever for an extraction point. It was an easy install as the client was cooperative!

Are Radon Mitigation Systems Worth It?
This client was originally thinking about putting a system in a year ago but the contractor was some random company and told them it was a 5-6 month waiting process. Not with us! They also mentioned seeing us at the Iowa State Fair and wanted to give us a shot. They did say we priced higher but also offered other options and a better design based on their radon levels of 15. The installation was 2 point system that will be along wall walking down the stairs. It will then route out an exit through the tiny storage room to the left of the stairs and out the garage in the insert portion towards the back. The client was a super nice guy and wanted pure reassurance that the radon mitigation system is worth. He was happy how everything turned out!
