Radon Mitigation - Keota, IA
This client was a close friend of our techs but no special treatment here! We did check their levels first and advised the ideal system for their home. Nathan's parents would be moving with him soon. He wants to make sure his home is overall protected from radon exposure. This home has an interior system that was going to exit through the peak of the roof in the garage. Utility room is only sharing a wall with the garage but they have a metal roof. We were really careful as we still don't want to destroy the aesthetic of the home. This needed to be a 2-point system to begin with as the team was informed that their levels returned around 20s. Pretty high. Originally designed 1 point prior to hearing that and adjustments have already been made.
Radon Mitigation - Keota, IA
It all started when our team left an Eco blue with Nathan as their parents down the road were looking into putting a system in depending on numbers. Nathan is a cool guy and Rusty knows through a close mutual friend. This home has an interior system that was going to exit through the peak of the roof in the garage. Utility room is only sharing a wall with the garage but they have a metal roof. Exit out into the garage and try and find an exit point that doesn't look funky through the front of the home. Nathan is also after looks, so the team needs to be careful! Their levels returned below 20's. The team checked once more and Rusty realized that the home DOES NEED to be a two point system. Originally designed 1 point prior to hearing that and adjustments have already been made. The homeowners don't really care where we put the two points as long as they aren't really in the way of walking around in room.

Radon Testing for Home in Harper, Iowa
This was a single point system that will go around the over hand. Homeowner has a metal roof and has been passed down from generation to generation as part of the farm. Their levels are under 4 but borderline, explained to them that it still not a safe level and they are doing this partial for their kids and part for preventative measures for the next generation who lives there. This home is at grade for where we need to exit. There is an older egress window that we can look to exit from. Homeowner also is looking for an Aspen upstairs to clean the air as they have a young kiddo and need a Sedona and stand as there is standing water and condensation in the laundry room. He is very protective with his family's health which we definitely agree on his measures! Amazing!

Radon Mitigation Before Winter Starts
This client's family members were determined to create a safe home for their family after discovering high radon levels in their home, it was around 25 pCi/L. They set clear goals: reduce radon exposure, ensure a healthy environment, and increase property value before the year ends or winter officially starts. Radon Defense Midwest team guided them through the process, explaining each step. With a professional installation completed, the family gave happy feedback as they received confirmation of reduced levels after a few days. Their commitment paid off, transforming their home into a sanctuary, free from the dangers of radon exposure, and restoring their peace of mind.

Saved Radon Mitigation System Installation
The system had been a disaster from the start as per the client. A competitor company installed it, but it never worked, and after several failed attempts by other contractors, client was left in the lurch—no one could fix the problem, and she wasn’t even sure if she’d paid them. Now, she was stuck with a potential rip-out job and the possibility of needing to patch things up herself. She called Radon Defense Midwest as a back-up plan and she liked the price so she tried to salvage what was from the original radon mitigation she had. The team discussed the plan to the client and she agreed, she did say that her experience with the RDM was entirely better than the others.
