Radon Mitigation - Waukee, IA
This installation was for a young couple that bought their first home. The amazing thing about their story is they had it tested for radon first before moving in. The results turned in 5.5 pCi/L and the home was just built early this year. They wanted the system to be installed in the basement since it's still in the process of finishing. It was not that hard and everything went well!

Trusted Choice for Future-Proof Radon Protection
Sometimes the simplest installs carry the biggest potential. This radon mitigation system is a straightforward up-and-out design, with a soffit penetration as requested. While we weren’t the lowest bid, the homeowner chose us for our reputation, professionalism, and long-term value—something her family appreciated during a sensitive time. With the home currently in a trust and the basement potentially being finished in the future, the extraction point was strategically placed near the HVAC system. This offers flexibility in case the basement is ever divided into separate rooms.
We’re hopeful this project opens the door to helping more family members stay protected with professional radon mitigation.

Radon Gas Remediation in Woodward, Iowa
This client had multiple radon tests conducted on the main level of his home and returned with levels of 8. He has an unfinished space in basement. He mentioned in the winter he had levels as high as 12 on the main level. The install will be a one chamber basement and a dirt crawlspace with a heavy layer of gravel over it was later added as an addition with master suite above it. The opening from basement to crawlspace is 2'x2' wand the next access point is the sump pit with interior drain tile. Currently the floor drain leads to this, and a brown water pipe from his washing machine goes to this. No discharge line or pump, but a tile that lets water flow naturally outside and daylights. The client is also going to have a one way valve or flange installed on floor drain and pipe that leads outside. The final exit will be on backside of bathroom and bedroom closet. The client also requested a radon fan cover.

Protecting Family Health with Radon Mitigation
Tim and Shelly have faced serious health challenges; both were diagnosed with cancer in recent years. Concerned about the dangers of radon exposure, they wanted to protect their children and grandchildren from future cancer risks. That’s when they turned to a professional radon mitigation system.
Our team installed a two-point radon mitigation system on the south side of their home. One extraction point was placed behind the garage near the foundation wall, while a second point was added under the crawl space, ensuring radon gases were effectively pulled away from living areas. We also sealed around the sump lid in the basement and installed a 16x25 BEZ filter to improve indoor air quality. They had a ERV insalled for better indoor air.
While the slab condition meant we could not guarantee exact levels, this system provides powerful protection. For Tim and Shelly, reducing radon was an essential step in safeguarding their family’s health for generations.
Radon Mitigation - Cumming, IA
This mitigation project was for a farmhouse that was immediately confirmed with a deposited cheque. During discussions with the homeowners, Mike and his wife, various options were explored for the old farmhouse with three chambers. They decided on placing the extraction point on the east side, near the white barn, and expressed interest in duct cleaning after the system is installed. Considering the furnace location's half wall, potential extraction point adjustments were discussed. The homeowners changed their preferences, and flexibility was assured, with the installation crew ready to provide advice during the process.
