This is an interior system job and design changed a few times while the team was there. There is a closet to the bottom of the stairs that we will look to run an interior line up from. There is a closet in the guest bedroom on the upper floor to run up through and hide in. The radon fan will go through attic into back of home if possible, depending on crawl room in the attic. Not the largest attic space to get into and the access is in one of the bedrooms. Tricky project but the client is really nice!

What Does Radon Do?

Radon is actually a radioactive gas and in lengths of time could cause lung cancer if not mitigated. This was the client's first question when we met her online, she had her research but she believes to always leave it the experts. She had her home for a radon test and found out they had levels of 22! That's a big discovery for them as a family. Now, they decided to have it mitigated as soon as possible. It was a simple install where the system would run along in the garage and would exit at the back of the home. Everything went perfect!

Julie was very nice and just moved into the house with her family a month ago. Levels of 4.0 so want to address radon for health concerns, but more concerned with indoor air quality. Family has allergies, asthma, and one has a weakened immune system. Upon inspection it was a modular house placed on poured foundation basement and wood floor joists. Discovering high radon levels in their home after a test, this family acted swiftly. This client of ours recently started his own busines and will be working from home most days. He started with a simple test and returned with high levels. He is concerned about the the long-term effects of radon not just for himself  but also for his family. He will be placing the radon mitigation system in the basement and might create  his office setup from there. Everything was discussed on set about the installation process, he was happy with the result!
